While I Was Gone

Hey guys. Im going to try to sum up everything that has happened the last two days.

When I finished the post about the flock members, I woke up everyonr else and we took off. We're still searching Navada but so far we haven't found anyone else. Anyways, once we were in the air, we searched the nearest town. (Some parts of Navada a really barren. It can get really boring flying over NOTHING!) Well we didnt find any other mutants there. However, Danny and Michael did discover that people in Navada aren't very welcoming to giant mutant bird things in the sky. Some old man started shooting at the two of them when they got to close to his house. It was pretty funny. Well now we know. We flew over the next 7 towns/ cities in about 4 hours. The younger kids were getting to tired so we ended up stopping a lot earlier then I had hoped we would. We ended up sleeping in an abandoned house thing out in the middle of now where. I dont even know what it was doing out there. We ate a small dinner and then the flock went to sleep. That is, he flock minus me and Melanie. I guess I wasnt the only one who was staying alert. We both knew that flyboys could jumpout at any second. Luckily, none did. It was kind of weird. relaxing, but weird. Normally flyboys are every where.

When the flock woke up, we did the same thing as the day before. Searched, ate slept. Still we found no other mutants. I was starting to think Navada was a good state. That is, until everything went up in flames. Seriously. The building, went up in flames. It caught fire and every thing started to burn. Everyone jump up and shot out their wings. I pointed towards the cieling and we all flew up and, amazingly, out the top. The building was so old that we broke through the roof like it was paper. When I looked down, I almost forgot to flap and lost a few feet. The old building was surrounded by flyboys. As one they looked up and took off after us. At the same time, we all turned and started flying for are lives. I knew that there was a town not to far away. If we could get into civilization, we might be safe. Soon enogh, lights started to pop up on the horizion. As soon as we reached the tows borders, we tucked in our wings and dropped like rocks. On the ground, we ran to the nearest house and ran inside. I didnt expect the family in that house to be very welcoming to us. I was totally right. A man pulled out a gun and pointed it straight at me. He started yelling and I told him that we had gone into the wrong house by accident. Right then, hell broke loose. The door crashed down and the windows exploded. Flyboys started streaming in like a river. The man started shooting at them which didnt do much good. Yea it stopped a couple of them, but the rest just threw the bodies aside. Suddenly, bullets started flying from all directions. I forgot the flyboys had guns. I grabbed the gun from the guys had and started shooting at the nearest flyboys. When on of them fell, Melanie picked up the gun and started fireing away. Man she looked hot! Anyway. Eventually we all had guns. We were sompletly surrounded and only had 6 kids and a scared family to help fight. The odds were against us.
I'll try to make the rest as short as possible.
We ran up the stairs and to the nearest window. When a flyboys jumped in front of the window, i shot it right in the eye. It fell to the ground and crumpled. One by one we jumped out the window and flew away. Behind us, the house exploded, taking a couple other houses with it. I looked over at Danny to see him slapping a high five with Michael. I would have to talk to them later. For the rest of the day no flyboys followed us. That night we slept on the floor in a cave. When we got back to civilization, i went online and typed this blog. I dont know when I'll post again so just keep your eyes open.
